Hi thought I'd share my two little Adam Neate curios with you. These were done way before he went all 'prince' and changed his name to a symbol I was mates with Adam when he was kicking his heels around the west midlands in the 90's, before he moved (back) to London. The first picture is a doodle I found in his room and asked him to add the name of my fanzine to, so it became the front cover of the first issue of Catatonic Blues. i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz228/Doppleskanger/CatCover.jpgThe second has a slightly more interesting story. It is called 'none shall pass' and was a commission for a collected volume I was trying to put together. That never came out but the picture was eventually used as the cover for a pirate press off print I put out of Valarie Solanas' SCUM Manifesto. So there you go, Adam Neate supports radical feminism! Well actually that's not true, I don't think he ever knew what I did with this one, but there you go. i830.photobucket.com/albums/zz228/Doppleskanger/NSP.jpgAnyway, just thought I'd share. You can see how crazy his skill level was even back then, when he was a skinny little indie kid who made every one laugh. Hope you enjoy

Thanks for sharing! Interesting stuff, but glad he evolved so much as an artist!
