That's a really nice tale of you and your son. I wondered around for about 3 hours last night. I did end up getting a painting. I went to ELMS gallery and Adam was there with a few he handed out. I continued to walk and search because I wanted to discover one. No luck but I did find streets and alleyways I didn't even know where there. Great project

Does anyone have a Blue print from the 1000 given out last night? I would like to swap it for a Red one I have. I would also be interested in any other colours. Please message me. I live in Hackney and will travel to make the swap!

Hi!
Can anyone help?
I have found one of the pieces outside a shop on saturday morning!
It is a mans head with red surround and stamps and staples in it.
I am not looking to sell it but am curious as to how much such an item is worth and if its value increases with time.
I am going to take a trip to the london galleries for some advice tommorow too.
Thanks
Wayne

From dusk till dawn I was a babbling - nervous wreck, created by a spark of urgency to seize control of reality, by a force to seize destiny and create my own luck.
Trawling through message boards prior to the drop off, then the dirty streets of London through the allotted times, looking for clues, hunting for art by an artist I am not even really a fan of.
There, I've said it, and on the Adam Neate forum as well. But wait before condemning me to a lifetime of the Tate Britain.
There I was, scouring London, questioning whether a palette may have been placed in an alleyway on purpose due to its hidden message, or whether that piece of cardboard and plastic once held the remains of something special and I was, indeed, just two minutes out of sync with the placing of something special.
Adam Neate drew out of me something which, to me is questionable, and that is my Artistic Morals.
I am a 21 year old student; poor, impoverished and sleep deprived.
I am also an Art Lover, pining over Parla's, Osegemeos', Delta's (especially Delta's), Frosts, Anthony Listers and TFreaks galore. (Nb. most of Elms Lesters exhibitors)
But.
I have spoken out about how Neate is not to my taste, I do not get it, I can't get it. I read the Adam and Ron book and tried to look at it from a different view, but my critical tastes disallowed it.
But then The London Show came to town and I became curious.
My Pretentiousness wanted me to understand whether ‘the art’ was in the leaving of the art, or the adventure which it evoked. Whether it was the urban and contemporary adventure or the two fingers to the Critic, Dealer and Auctioneers ‘50% plus VAT’.
But the thing that most concerned me was my morals. I became desperate to get my hands on one, but if I did, what would I do?
I noted above that I am a poor student, and an art lover, see my predicament? Do I... Flip for the immediate cash-in? Or keep for definite increased value? Or Keep because I genuinely love the concept of art for free - even though I am not a fan?
The short of it, and yes I have rattled on enough, I didn't get a piece of Adam's work.
But.
I spent a night out with seven mates, most of whom had never heard of Adam Neate and couldn’t understand why he might do this; we looked for treasure and enjoyed the random thoughts of how Art is just the face of so many hidden questions, mainly those of the self.
P.S: I am now a born again fan of Adam's for life.
